Exam Preparation
Starting in 2021, key changes to the Level I exam include: computer-based testing instead of paper-based testing, a reduction from 240 questions to 180, and four exam offering windows each year (February, May, August, November) instead of just two sittings (June and December).

Hypothesis testing

Exam Structure
Paper-Based Testing (2020)
- 240 questions split between morning and afternoon sessions
- Morning session (3 hours): 120 multiple choice questions, covering all 10 topics
- Afternoon session (3 hours): 120 multiple choice questions, covering all 10 topics
Computer-Based Testing (2021)
- 180 questions split between two 135-minute sessions (optional break between sessions).
- First session (2 hours, 15 minutes): 90 multiple choice questions, covering all 10 topics
- Second session (2 hours, 15 minutes): 90 multiple choice questions, covering all 10 topics
Multiple Choice Question Format
- Format 1: Sentence completion with three unique choices.
- Format 2: Questions with three unique choices.
- All questions are equally weighted; no penalty for incorrect answers.
